Tranquil Tea
Not every tea needs to be complicated. Sometimes three perfect ingredients is exactly enough.
Tranquil is the simplest blend in our collection and one of the most beloved — because chamomile, lemongrass, and rose petals have been bringing people back to themselves at the end of long days for centuries, and they do it beautifully without needing any help.
Chamomile is the great grandmother of calming herbs in the Western botanical tradition — gentle, mellow, and so deeply associated with rest and ease that even the scent of it brewing is enough to begin the unwinding process. It is the herb that has been handed from generation to generation as the first answer to a stressed or restless day, and for good reason. Lemongrass adds a bright, clean citrusy lift that stops the blend from feeling heavy or soporific — this isn't a tea that puts you to sleep so much as one that creates the conditions for genuine rest by quieting the mental noise that gets in the way. Rose petals bring a delicate floral elegance and a subtle heart-opening warmth that rounds the whole cup into something genuinely beautiful.
Three ingredients. Centuries of collective comfort. One perfect evening cup.
Tasting notes: Gentle and mellow from chamomile, brightened by a clean citrus lift from lemongrass, with a whisper of floral delicacy from rose petals. Naturally lightly sweet, soft, and deeply soothing. The kind of cup that makes you exhale on the first sip.
Best enjoyed: Brewed for 5-7 minutes — long enough to draw out the chamomile's full gentle depth without any bitterness. A small drizzle of honey if you like, though it's genuinely lovely without. Drink it away from screens, ideally with nothing in particular to do for the next little while. Let the ritual be the point.
Best for: Evening wind-down routines, anyone who finds more complex blends too stimulating before bed, a gentle daily stress ritual that doesn't require committing to anything medicinal or serious, or simply someone who wants the most classically comforting cup of herbal tea that exists. Also the most universally appealing tea in the collection — the one we recommend without hesitation to anyone who says they don't usually drink herbal tea. Everyone loves chamomile. This is chamomile at its most elegant.
