Digestion Tea

The tea you brew after the meal you didn't mean to eat quite so much of.

Simple, purposeful, and genuinely effective — Digestion is a three-herb blend that has been used in various forms across herbal traditions for centuries, because these three plants simply work. Sometimes the most straightforward formula is the most powerful one.

Peppermint is perhaps the most universally recognised digestive herb in Western botanical tradition — cooling, antispasmodic, and remarkably effective at easing the discomfort of a full or unsettled stomach. Fennel seed brings its own long history of traditional use for bloating, gas, and gentle digestive support, alongside a natural anise-like sweetness that makes the blend genuinely pleasant to drink. Coriander seed adds a warm, slightly citrusy earthiness that rounds the blend out beautifully while contributing its own traditional digestive properties — particularly valued in Ayurvedic herbalism for its gentle, calming effect on the digestive system.

Three ingredients. Centuries of traditional use. One very good cup of tea.

Tasting notes: Cool and refreshing from the peppermint, with a gentle natural sweetness from fennel and a warm, earthy citrus depth from coriander. Light, clean, and palate-cleansing in the best possible way.

Best enjoyed: Brewed for 5-7 minutes, drunk after meals to support comfortable digestion, or any time the stomach needs gentle settling. Also lovely iced in summer — cold brew overnight and serve over ice for a surprisingly refreshing digestive drink. No honey needed — the fennel seed provides all the natural sweetness this blend requires.

Best for: Post-meal comfort, bloating and general digestive unease, anyone who reaches for an antacid out of habit and wants a gentler, more natural alternative, or simply someone who wants a light, refreshing tea that isn't sweet or floral. Also a wonderful after-dinner tea to serve to guests — universally pleasant and genuinely useful.
